desres Des Res Exhibition. Two of our recent design projects have been selected for inclusion in this prestigious exhibition. The exhibition showcases new ideas for living in London. Our Cudworth and Dunbridge Street projects were both selected for their creative and challenging ideas and solutions to the current housing crisis.

The exhibition will be open to the public from the 24th of April until the 14th of June.

Tarling Community Centre Gains Planning Permission. Johnston architecture & design have secured planning permission for a new community centre in Shadwell, East London. The building provides 3 multi-purpose spaces that open out onto landscaped gardens and ball game area. The building has been positioned and oriented to take make the most of new gardens and terraces. Sustainable materials and methods of construction have been incorporated including extensive use of solar panels, which also provide solar shading to the extensive terrace/deck areas.

Wheler Street Gains Planning Permission. Johnston architecture & design have secured Planning Permission for the renovation and conversion of this former language school to 4 city apartments. The redevelopment includes a rooftop pavilion extension as part of the top floor duplex unit.
